A huge thank you to everyone who performed, volunteered, donated and came along to support TabsFest 2026 at The Big Sheep, Bideford. Your energy, generosity and spirit made it such a special event and raised funds for Tabitha’s Smile.
Headlining our debut year were the incredible Majesty, A Tribute to Queen, supported by Nick Parker & The False Alarms, The Kahunas, Yazzy and Fool Custardy, Mislaid Grenade, Nick Parker and Chivenor Military Ladies Choir.
“What an absolute honour for be part of Tabsfest yesterday, a festival & charity created for something so so close to my heart. … To the band, Tabitha’s family & everyone who showed up, thank-you for such a wonderful celebration of Tabitha’s life…for those of you following, Tabitha was a dear friend of mine & sadly lost her battle with cancer so young.. whilst Tabitha was alive I encouraged her to write a song with me, as I find songwriting so therapeutic & really helps me to get my emotions out… that’s how ‘Sparkle’ was created & what a honour to perform it live yesterday with Ali & the band (who are all sooooo unbelievably talented). Tabs would have bloody loved it. We did that for her!”

Majesty
Majesty are recognised as the best Queen tribute band in the UK if not the world! Having recently toured in Europe and the USA, the band are dedicated to recreating the music, energy, and theatrical spectacle of Queen. Their show features all the iconic hits, including “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “We Will Rock You”, “We Are the Champions” and “Don’t Stop Me Now”. The band is famous for its portrayal of Freddie Mercury, capturing his vocal range, stage charisma and signature costumes.

Nick Parker and the False Alarms
Nick Parker and the False Alarms are a folk-rock band known for energetic live shows, witty songwriting, and a blend of acoustic warmth with indie-rock punch. Musically, they shift comfortably between intimate acoustic moments and full-band anthems.

The Kahunas
The Kahunas are a powerhouse Indie Rock duo. A melting pot of drums, violin, synthesizers and original lyrical content. Blending dance beats, Wah-Wah driven violin riffs and lush melodic harmonies. Having played at festivals such as Boomtown, Beautiful Days & Sidmouth Folk festival to name a few, The Kahunas have a third album on it’s way due to be out in 2026.

Fool Custardy
Fool Custardy are a covers band known for their humour, theatrical performances, and wildly eclectic setlists. Blending musicianship with comedy, they deliver high-energy shows that don’t take themselves too seriously. Fun, loud, and unapologetically silly, Fool Custardy aim to get the party started!

Yazzy
Yazzy is a singer‑songwriter and performer from North Devon who blends soulful vocals with emotional, heartfelt songwriting. She’s recognised for her expressive voice and engaging storytelling, described as “half lioness, half songbird” for her powerful yet tender vocal delivery.

With roots in rock, folk and country music and access to a vast and varied record collection growing up, Ben Trevor performs original songs and surprising interpretations of well known classics with an emphasis on finding the very soul of the song, whatever the genre.

Chivenor Military Ladies Choir
Chivenor Military Ladies Choir is a community choir, with roots in the BBC television series The Choir: Military Wives, where choirmaster Gareth Malone helped bring together wives and partners of British servicemen stationed at Royal Marines Base Chivenor.
